Metacognitiva Interpessoal para Distúrbios de Personalidade 
A 4-5 de julho de 2014, em Lisboa, no Novotel à Av. José Malhoa, e no contexto da Especialização em Psicoterapia, a Sociedade organizou seminário internacional de dois dias com Giancarlo Dimaggio, que nos apresentou um modelo Narrativo-dialógico de intervenção com perturbações da personalidade. A Apresentação focou nos seguintes aspectos:

- Procedimentos para alcançar distância critica de esquemas interpessoais desadaptativos
- Procedimentos para enriquecer a actividade social, ultrapassar o evitamento, e desenvolver sentido de agência 
- Perturbações de Evitamento e Narcisista foram o foco principal do treino
- Participantes convidados a discutir questões pessoais em actividades experienciais 

Seminar & Workshop on MIT for Personality Disorders.
The 4th and 5th July 2014, in Lisbon, at Novotel, an International Seminar on Metacognitive Interpersonal Therapy for Personality Disorders took place with Dimaggio, that lectured on:

- Procedures for achieving critical distance from maladaptive interpersonal schemas
- Procedures for enriching social action overcome avoidance and foster agency
- Avoidant and narcissistic pd were the main focus of the training
- Participants asked to discuss personal issues in the experiential part


Giancarlo Dimaggio (MD) is a prominent colleague coming from the Center for  Metacognitive Interpersonal Therapy, Roma. His scientific and clinical publications are numerous, on dialogical self theory, narrative psychotherapy, metacognition, metacognitive therapy, psychotherapy, psychotherapy research, mentalizing and personality disorders, including the volumes “The dialogical self in psychotherapy”, «Psychotherapy of personality disorders: Metacognition, states of mind and interpersonal cycles» and “Metacognition and severe adult mental disoders”. Giancarlo Dimaggio is an editorial coworker in several psychotherapy journals, including “International Journal for Dialogical Science”, “Journal of Constructivist Psychology”, “Psychotherapy Research”, “Journal of Personality Disorders” and associate editor for “Psychology and Psychotherapy: Theory, Research and Practice”.

Treating personality disorders with Metacognitive Interpersonal Therapy: Enriching the life-narratives, general principles and technique 
Clinical examples and supervision of case material presented by participants
